Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 4, 2006 The rado cabin is easy to make rattle and squeak free. First thing to do is investigate whether alarm fitters have mucked up the dash, they often leave off clips and screws. Did you know that there are 8 screws and a floor clip holding the driver's side shelf on? When I got my car, it was secured with 3 screws and no floor clip. Simply putting it all back to how it should be reduced the rattles by 90%. The rest was a case of chalking the leather where it rubs and felt lining key rubbing areas. Mine only ever makes noises over severe bumps and lumps now, where before it was rattling about on any surface! We all go through dispondant phases, stick with it, drive some french cars and you'll soon feel right again :-)
GIXXERUK 0 Posted February 4, 2006 draught excluder behind some panels works a treat , its just enough not to interfere but enough to lift it away from contact, esp good on plastic panels
