Reprogramming MFA

So... getting a replacement tacho for my G60 and need to convert the MFA settings to kph instead.

 

Can Volskwagen do this reprogramming to convert it ? or am I better off asking somebody else to do this ?

 

Any idea of costs ? anybody done this before ?

i've not heard of that being done (not saying it cant be) maybe if you change the country code ?

You will need to change the MFA module part as well. Not programmable. ROM is specific - ie MPH/miles or KPH/K's

And you can't get those in MPH anymore.

 

If you have the later instrument pods with the digital mileage and trip then you will need to change the entire PCB in the pod.

what do i need to be able to do this? my car reads Kmh as i bought it when i was living abroad and want to do a clock face conversion......

 

whats PCB short for? do any of you know for a new link to the country code thing as its saying 'page not found'

 

i would just get a set of UK clock off a scrappy or the forum but i want to keep my original clocks if possible as it will show the true mileage of the car and seeing as its only done 75k miles i see the instrument cluster something not to get rid of!

when i got my rado, the circuit boaed was cooked is it possible to switch the digi miliage from my old circuit board. want to show the true milage
