trev-b 0 Posted February 20, 2006 Thought i would share my experience with these breakers, i ordered a gear shift cable for my corrado and also a pair of lupo gti wiper arms and blades, (bearing in mind that i specified that the wipers had to be the gti aero wipers). That was on the 10th of feb, so i expected the package to arrive some time the next week. Thursday came and still i had recieved nothing (those that have gone without their corrado for any length of time will know how anxious i was) so i gave them a call only to find out that they had completely forgotten about the order! The guy i spoke to was reasonable and assured me they would be dispatched next day delivery. Next day came and nothing again, called them again and was told that there had been a problem with my card number and they had tried calling me which was a lie. They then refused to send the package next day delivery as it would be weekend prices, fair enough maybe. Finally got the package today and surprise surprise the wipers are from a non gti lupo! Called them again and they refused to refund the me the cost of sending the wipers back to them! Trading standards spring to mind.

trev-b 0 Posted February 20, 2006 Jim, cheers mate, i've dropped them an email. This wouldn't bother me normally but you'd think after all the messing me about they would at least refund me the full cost of the wipers!

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 20, 2006 If it's the Stevens that's near Chelmsford (01245 362020) I've been to their yard and they seemed OK. They did me a full OBD2 conversion and were very interested in my car as the guy that runs it also has a supercharged VR. Quite good lads really, hopefully it's just a simple blunder that can be resolved amicably?
trev-b 0 Posted February 20, 2006 kevHaywire, Yep thats the one, the guys i spoke to were really sound it all went tits up when the woman came on the phone. Suppose she must have something to prove working in a male dominated world.
