groaning sound

hi i need some diagnostic advice please,

 

i have a94 rado vr6, and when i go around right hand bends it groans

but the past week even on straight steering it seems to groan andit appears loud to.

 

anyone any ideas?

Erm, could be wheel bearing. Need more info, is it a constant groaning or intermittent?

yes it sounds like it is coming from the front wheels

it was first evident when going round roundabouts but now it is on the straig

it does not seem as loud once i get pass 50 mph

but when i slow down it realy loud.

My first thought would be with Trigger, but quite rightly as he said it could be a number of things.

 

If its your drivers side bearing it would have been more noticeable on roundabouts when you are stearing into it if its really knackered as it would be putting all the pressure on it. The sounds would be more like a whine(whistle) though, a groan sounds more like metal/rubber like mounts/bushes etc.
