2.9 intake manifold vs 2.9

Upon initial inspection, it seems like there is no provision for an EGR valve or Intake air temp sensor on the 2.9's. How was this taken care of in the later cars? Anyone swap one of these?

There's no EGR on the Euro models at all, don't know what changes were made for it on the US models (2.8s).

Oh, by the way, I think the later models had an intake air temp sensor integrated into the MAF.
