aclwalker 3 Posted March 7, 2006 I'm going to replace both my front wheel bearings (and various other bits at the front). I have done a front wheel bearing on a Polo before and am a competent DIYer so would like to do it on the Corrado if possible. Does anyone have recommendations for drifts etc and where to get them to do this job? Any idea what diameter drift I need? It's a 1994 VR6, BTW. Thanks

Thanks take the hub off the car, buy a bearing from GSF etc. and then take it to a garage or machine shop with a press, bung them a few quid to press the old one off and the new one on, much easier than struggling yourself only to end up damaging the new bearing. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 7, 2006 Just watch they don't bend the hub in the process, or the calipers will run off centre.
