BMC induction kit on a VR6

Hi

 

Just getting a BMC fitted at Stealth amongst other things, to my golf vr6, and they mentioned it doesn't really make any difference whether the cold air feed is attached or not. How many of you here have a BMC and have run it with and also without the cold air feed... did you notice any difference in driving performance at all?

 

How many of you here run it without the cold air feed... how is the performance compared to standard? Is it noisier without the cold air feed?
