Riley 0 Posted March 11, 2006 from what i can remember... 2 17mm? bolts either side(under the car/front x member? but please let somebody confirm as i think theres a bolt in the middle(either side) which is securing the x member! bcstudent 0 Posted March 11, 2006 There are four bolts (I wouldn't be surprised if at least one is missing though) that secure the bumper. They pass through the front cross-member and bolt into captive nuts on the bumper brackets in the chassis legs. It's a good idea to support the engine if removing the bumper as the four bolts represent the majority of the cross-member support. Like Riley says, there are a couple of other smaller bolts securing the cross-member so the bumper can be removed without supporting the engine but I don't trust them.
