Existing Speaker Cabling for 6X9's

Morning All,

 

Is it feasible to wite in some 6X9's and use the existing cabling? Is it up to it? I Really dont wan't to have to run new cable, but if I have to does it run inder the carpet along the footwells?

you can use the existing wires, but they're a bit lacking. Personally I'd run new wires, far be it from me to knock VW but they did skimp a little on the audio system in the corrado! you can run them down the center tunnel, or along the side of the car, the choice is yours!

where do the existing cables run? I'm only asking because I'm looking at doing this in the quickest possible time

I'm not entirely sure! I'ev a feeling they run behind the rear 'door' cards which are a bu&&er to get off. I just tucked mine out of the way and forgot about them!
