slant 0 Posted March 16, 2006 I get out of my car one night and hear a horible grinding noise from behind the drivers door. Turns out the seatbelt motor is jammed. I forced the buckle as far back as it would go and unplugged the motor. Aside form it being almost accros my face, the seatbelt warning light is on...and I kinda like the auto seatbelts. Ive searched but can find an answer to this one so far. Anybody know how to fix the motor? Id like to have so idea of what i should be doing befroe I take out the motor. Blinky16v 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Seat belt motor... not heard of one of those. Not sure if Euro Spec C's have these, but I do only have the 16v (poverty spec C) :)
dinkus 10 Posted March 17, 2006 The electric seatbelts was a US-only thing. Not sure if you'll be able to get an awful lot of help on here, as we're mostly UK-based. It's probably worth asking in the VW Vortex forums or the guys at the Corrado Club USA though
