need help changing disc and pads

I started to take the pads of without any problem. Now im at the point of taking the disc of, the lil screw that holds the disc in place wont come out (its rounded of :oops: ) if I drill it out will I need to replace it???

 

Any help would be great

ive had this before, first try hammering a hex bolt into it (star shape thing) this may enable you to turn the screw. if not then drill it out.

The only reason the screww is there is to keep the wheel bolt holes in place so making it easier to change the wheel. You could replace it if u want but it wont be a problem if u leave it out.

The 'proper' tool for the job is an impact driver. This is just a screwdriver that you place over the screw and hammer the back- the force of the hammer is converted into a twist whilst also pushing right into the screw.

 

They are not expensive- well worth having in your toolbox tbh.
