gradeAfailure 0 Posted July 21, 2006 Looking good Phil! What sealant do you use for fitting the front wing? Gotta do mine soon...
PhillT 0 Posted July 21, 2006 not sealed it yet, and can't remember the name of sealant I've got  should be ok though, Red oxide inside, then hamorite, going to seal seal it on then underseal it if that rusts again I'll give up working on cars

biggerbigben 0 Posted July 21, 2006 those pics bring back memories... :) Sprinter intercooler are big and cheap but I would be incline to go for a Td5 intercooler as they are a little smaller and basically are a bit neater. The sprinter doesn't fit particularly well in a corrado.. about 20mm too big! IHI is a good choice imo.. good spool up and nice for a daily driver (if thats what its going to be).. If you need any more help let me know as I've kinda been there and got the t-shirt and I would be glad to lend as much advice as I can give. Good luck! PhillT 0 Posted July 21, 2006 :thumb right: nice one ben, thanks might be asking for advice quite alot, being my first turbo'd car it's a big learning curve it will be a daily driver while the Mk1 gets some treatment after this, might become a weekend/track car in the future
PhillT 0 Posted October 11, 2006 thought it was about time I updated this thread! since finding out that C was a Cat B I've started stripping it down to scrap, and got myself another one 8) which I've been driving the past month or so so nice to drive!! had a few bits and bob's to sort on this one to use every day 1.8 16v.. some of you might have seen it advertised on here  2 new tyres New engine mounts New CV Joints (outer) replacement Ignition amplifier (TCI unit) full service (timing chain to be done) here's some pics (hope they're not too big?) and recently after a good wash/polish/wax plans for this are full respray in the original Helious blue (lovely colour), use the subframes + brakes from the G60 when cleaned and fully poly bushed, set of coilovers, new wheels put the 8v turbo engine in (might use the 16v for my Mk1) and a few subtle mods to the body to bring it out of the 90's styling thanks for looking
