Chay 0 Posted March 28, 2006 Driving into work this morning, then started to become noisey as it always runs quiet. I stopped and lifted the bonnet and the tappets were really noisey, then the oil warning light came on. The warning light has been coming on every now and then but I just put it down to faulty sensors. ANy thoughts, I was thinking oil pump has gone, any recommendations on garages near Urmston in Manchester, any help would be great. Chay Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Riley 0 Posted March 28, 2006 :( first of all id check the oil level m8,just incase you have lost it through a leak... but with the low pressure light coming on as well id be inclined to think that the pump is tired or the pick up pipe is blocked.either way i wouldnt drive it about. is it a valver? theres an oil pump change guide here id be whipping the sump off and having a look.
