biggrim 0 Posted September 8, 2003 Have mine almost off but can't figure out how to disconnect the wires for the central locking. I wanted to degrease and clean up the locking mechanism to see if my random locked out thing will go away with the drivers (problematic) door cleaned. Want to make sure it will work 100% before I do a passat rear handle conversion. Any help would be appreciated as the car is in my driveway unlocked with the handle hanging off. biggrim 0 Posted September 8, 2003 Cheers matey. Decided to leave it attached and give it a mini clean cause it was getting dark but I'll remember that for the next time. I'm just glad I didn't try and unplug it from the handle... that would have been nasty :cry: I'll be raiding a scrapyard soon for some Passat rears but first I'll have to do a bit of research cause a few folk on here have had a bit of difficulty in getting them to fit whereas some have done a straight swap with no probs.
