black66 0 Posted September 8, 2003 Hi, Does anyone know if the standard alarm on a 94M VR6 would be insurance recognised? Just bought my first VR yesterday and gotta give the insurance company a call. Cheers, Dave
vr6storm 0 Posted September 8, 2003 depends on the insurance companies attitude .........i know from experience that Admiral and Norwich Union Direct both accept the standard alarm immobiliser......whereas others demand either a "certificate of installation" or a new system fitted
Jez 0 Posted October 16, 2003 My insurance company wouldn't accept it, but its a bit rubbish anyways. Am having a laserline cat 1 fitted on Monday because the remote keyfobs have become seriously unreliable, I have to carry both set of keys round all the time!
