RapidVII 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Cheers matey, So thats - 5.25" fronts 6" x 4" rears ? If I bought the replacements, do I need to buy an adaptor plate, or will the original cones remove from the housing ( assuming its built that way ) Also, whats the maximun depth I could get away with for the replacements, ive had some Audiobahn stuff before in other cars and they are depthy to be honest. Cheers again. R7

VR6 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Yeah - get some decent comps up front and bin the rears. Even if you do buy better rears, you usually have to butcher the rear shelves to get them to fit (due to the usually bigger magnet). If you're doing things properly, get some Audioscape door pods which will allow you to fit 6.5" (plus larger sizes if you're feeling extravagant!). _Monkey 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Or if you're not feeling flush enough for the Audioscape ones, but you are feeling brave, just make your own door pods.
