stormseeker 0 Posted September 10, 2003 Well, luckily my temperamental ABS decided to work at the crucial moment this morning on t he way into work as a Muppet in a Metro(!) turned right in front of me as I went straight across a set of lights :shock: :shock: :shock: The underpant gauge went straight to full and I managed to steer out of the way with the ABS doing it's stuff! Even with my practiced cadence braking 8) I think I would have piled into him if it wasn't for the ABS! (nice wet roads this morning). (Anyone remember the Ford advert when they first introduced ABS, with I think a Grananda swerving round a tractor?
