TREVR6 0 Posted April 13, 2006 As title really..... VAG-COM is showing up "internal control module memory error/ too low" Can anyone shed some light as to what this actually means and how to go about fixing it? Ta
Supercharged 2 Posted April 13, 2006 Is your car chipped? What is the battery voltage? Did you clear the DTC's and re-scan?
TREVR6 0 Posted April 13, 2006 Yea it's chipped, it's an old AMD one, can't remember the voltage, think it was about 13.8, Yea cleared the dtc's it doesn't come back straight away but if you leave it a few days and re scan it's there again.

dr_mat 0 Posted April 14, 2006 VAG-COM is showing up "internal control module memory error/ too low" The ECU is too low. Put some books under it or something .. I'll get me coat.. (More seriously, it sounds like it's either a failing ECU or the chip itself is failing. Do you have a spare of either (perhaps the original chip)?)
