randomist 0 Posted April 25, 2006 been looking at getting the bonnet & the wings sprayed on my car coz they have quite a few stone chips & i want the front end to be as good as the rest of the car. i know myself that i'd be wary of buying a car that's had the front end resprayed but i was thinking if i documented the painting with before & after pictures then that would go some way to reassure the next buyer. not that i'm thinking of selling mind!!! i've heard some people saying it's sometimes best to keep the original paint work, stonechips'n'all but i think it would look much better with the front end painted. tbh the stonechips are probably not that bad but it's starting to annoy me coz they keep catching my eye when the sun shines! would it put any of you lot off buying a corrado that's had the front end painted? gradeAfailure 0 Posted April 25, 2006 It wouldn't put me off if I knew that it had only been painted to cover up stonechips - if you can take some pics of it as it goes into the bodyshop and during paint to prove that it wasn't shunted then you'll be fine... :)
