Borbet A 9x16 et15 vr6

Recommended Posts

I know this topic has been covered previously but couldnt find any info for my specific situation so hope you guys can help...

Just purchased a set of borbet a's from germany, 9x16s all round.

Got a standard vr6 which i'm planning to fit 40mm lowering springs to.

The wheels are et15 so my main question is, will these bad boys go straight on without any arch work?

I saw on other threads that there was a bit of a debate over 205 or 215 tyres.....I like the stretched look but does anyone out there have 205s on a set of 9" borbet a's?

Finally, how low should I or can I go with these? I havent fitted the 40mm lowering springs yet, so wanted to check if its low enough before I do.....

I dont want to go so low that I cause any rub, but I dont want any unnecessary space between arches and wheels either....

Appreciate any help

get 215/40 tyres, but with ET15 on a VR you will not get them on without the arches being pulled/extended I'm afraid...
