Recommended Posts

Im gonna be attempting this tomorrow, its the drivers side mount not the gearbox.

Any advice?

I have done the front before, which is easy but never a rear.

Im not in a position to take the motor out etc so all will be done it situ with a few axel stands and a jack.

any help would be great

I think you need a very long extention so you can undo the bolt from above the engine. As with most jobs on these 10+ yr old cars, easy if you have the tools!

well its done, not to much to it really.

as Niges16V said a long extension bar is handy, as is a u joint if you dont want to remove the whole inlet mani. i just removed the intake pipes..

I think that i need to do the gear box mount also at some point but the new front and rear seem to be doing the trick.

anyone need any advice on this im happy to advise

:-)
