Gaz, there's a lovely little trick that helps when you have rattly followers becaure of neglect, you run the rngine up to temp until the fan cuts in then you hold the revs at 2000for a minute then 3000 for 1 minute or just 3000 for 1 minute, can't remember exactly, H8RRA has the little white/blue engine manual and it's a gem for engine info like that and it worke excellently.

I'll find out and let you know.

Yip you could do that but just as easy and more practical to listen to see if it works by having the bonnet up and standing by it but either way i guess.
