Any prospect of these becoming available for Mk4's at some point in the future?

Hi Andy, yeah just looking into that at the mo. Not sure how the mk4 deals with engine RPM pulse yet, it may come in on CAN on the later ones, but got a mate with a mk4 AUM 1.8T, so will see what's goin on with his.

Forgot to mension that all the wires that conected to the back of the cluster were all the same colour, white

luckly the conecter had numbers next to each wire so wasnt too dificult.

PM on it's way...

hi mate will these still work if my rev count doesnt work?? might be a silly question hehe

Good question. If it's the rev counter itself that is buggered, then yes. If it's the rpm pulse coming into the clocks that's the problem, then no. Difficult to test which, unless you borrow some clocks from someone else, or by a second hand set.

I really like this, very interesting, just trying to figure out how it works, is it a counter which counts the pulses and converts it into various voltage for the LED's? and where does it pick the pulses up from?

also is it just a case of PM'n you for one or?

cheers!

Grant

Yep PM me if you want one :)

It uses the rpm pulse and measures the time between them. It's all done in software. You set the first and last LED with the button, by reving your engine to the desired rpm, then pressing the button :)
