Nick 0 Posted June 26, 2006 A good 500 miles to run it in. What garage did you use. What kind of corrado is it? Assuming a G60, what did your rado come with? Leather, alloys, history etc. What is the condition of the paint, and engine etc etc.
Walesy 0 Posted June 26, 2006 You shouldn't take the car over 3.5k revs for 500 miles after the charger's been serviced.

Well, I paid about 1K more than you for a G60 with 68K on the clock & cream leather (yummy). So that should give you a bench mark - it's all about condition at the end of the day. For example, I'm a bit dissapointed with some of the paint now in that it blooms very quickly (needs polishing every 2 weeks). I'm thinking of having the top half of the wings and doors flatted and resprayed or laquered (its a pearlescent), but I have no idea of cost.
crdo16v 0 Posted July 24, 2006 edd- i can recommend vws in marsh barton for mechanical work & kynastons for body work also in marsh barton. get their nos. from the phone book. get down :afro: there & talk to these guys they are enthusiasts & know what they are doing. if your'e lucky they may have a corrado or 2 on the premises too. Walesy 0 Posted July 25, 2006 crdo16v, I went to look at a Rado in a place in Marsh Barton that reckon'd they were a Corrado specialist. They had 3-4 rado's in at the time but not one of them was any good :(
crdo16v 0 Posted July 25, 2006 walesy- unfortunately the "newest" rado will now be 10 years old & unless you can find a low mileage "minter" will have seen a bit of life. lets face it rados are'nt normally used for posing in either so will have usually exceeded 70 mph on one or two occassions :lcop: specced-up low mileage, one or two owner cars are now getting very rare unless you can get to corrado heaven in a parallel universe where vw/karmann are still making them as we speak, blimey is it time for my medicine again so soon?
