Philj 0 Posted July 7, 2006 Now have my own section on club polo... See http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showforum=61 For details... The coilovers are identical to the V-Maxx Coilovers which are now starting to be distributed worldwide (visit the website HERE for some more info). V-Maxx is owned & made by B.V Hiltrac a large company from the Netherlands, who until now only produced suspension kits for other companies. B.V Hiltrac have only just started marketing these kits under their own brand (V-Maxx) although you will have seen their kits being branded under several names including Eibach, Weitec & FK Automotive. So far there seems to have been lots of positive feedback from different users of these kits all over the world, apparently they have learnt a lot from producing kits for everybody else! The springs and shock kits brand is evo, but they are rebranded fk kit (like how venom motorsport kits are rebranded g-max) All the kits (bar cars with independant rear suspension) are height adjustable at the rear. So a 60/40 kit will go 60/60, or 60/80. 60/40 means 60 front 40 rear. Here are the prices for each kit available. Uprated shocks and springs, with adjustable rear ride height. Polo's Mk1/2/3 86C/2F 40/40 - £125 60/40 - £125 70/60 - £130 80/60 - £130 HnR 60/40 cup kit - £255 Mk4 6n 40/40 - £125 60/40 - £125 80/60 - £130 Mk5 6n2(Not GTI) 40/40 - £140 60/40 - £140 75/45 - £155 80/60 - £155 Mk6 9n 40/40 - £185 60/40 - £190 Pretty sure the 9n kits will fit the mk7 9n2, but need to confirm. 6KV Polo Variant 40/40 - £140 60/40 - £140 Other VAG Mk1 Golf/Jetta/Scirocco 40/40 - £125 60/40 - £125 80/60 - £130 Mk2 Golf/Jetta/Corrado 40/40 - £125 60/40 - £125 80/60 - £130 100/80 - £140 Mk3 Golf/Vento 40/40 - £125 60/40 - £125 80/60 - £130 100/60 - £160 Mk4 Golf/Bora 40/40 - £125 60/40 - £125 Seat Ibiza 6k 40/40 - £130 60/40 - £130 60/60 - £130 80/60 - £135 Seat Ibiza 6L 40/40 - £210 60/40 - £210 Lupo 40/40 - £130 60/40 - £130 75/45 - £135 Seat Cordoba 40/40 - £140 60/40 - £140 Audi A4 40/40 - £170 60/40 - £170 Audi Coupe 40/40 - £180 60/40 - £180 Audi TT 40/40 - 255 Coilovers Polo's Mk4 6n - £275 Mk5 6n2 - £275 Mk6 9n - £280 6KV - £455 (FK) Other VW's Lupo - £285 Seat Ibiza - £280 Mk1 Golf/Jetta/Scirocco - £275 Mk2 Golf/Jetta/Corrado - £275 Mk3 Golf/Vento - £275 Mk4 Golf/Bora - £275 Seat Leon/Toledo 1l - £275 Skoda Octavia + Kombi - £275 Audi A3/TT - £275 Here is a pic of the mk1/2/3 80/60 spring and shocks kit And of the 6n 80/60 spring and shocks kit And of the 6n Coilovers... I can get suspension kits and coilovers for most VW, Seats, Audis and some other makes, if you want a price for a kit or coilies for a certain model, just ask. The postage on these are £15 each, and will be sent out by GLS straight from Germany to your door. A tracking number for your shipment can be supplied on request. I can get some of the springs in most heights, the front and rear adjustable shocks all seperately as well. If you have any questions or want a kit, send me a pm. fla 9 Posted July 7, 2006 What have been the general comments about the ride quality on the coilies? I'm always a bit sceptical when it comes to "cheaper" suspension, not hat i doubt your integrity! Have you supplied any Corrado kits yet and would you know how they are compared to the FKs, for example?
mtc R32 0 Posted July 7, 2006 I'm defo interested in the Coilovers mate... I need some more info though too..... Anyone had these on a Corrado VR6 and what was their opinion..
Philj 0 Posted July 8, 2006 Wondered where my post went then! Cant compare to fks, as I havent had either on a corrado, the guy who bought mk4 polo coilies said this about them though... "phil, dude, just fitted the suspension and am delighted with the result. where shall i start? erm... firstly, they are not that stiff but stiff enough not to rub and to take rediculously tight corners with ease. i would say the ride is muchos bouncier than my old highsports but the car stays firm through the twisties!!! i found the highsports very hard and my car was squeeking after 6 months or so..." The coilies dont fit the vr6 as far as Im aware, well they probably do, but no TUV for it. I'll ask about VR6 coilies, should be able to do them. fla 9 Posted July 10, 2006 Just out of interest who are the manufacturers? Anyone well known in the suspension circles?
Philj 0 Posted July 10, 2006 Everything is made by a german tuning brand caled evo, the shocks and spring kits are fk rebrands, think the coilies might be too.
peteTDI 0 Posted July 11, 2006 are the prices inc vat and postage?

Philj 0 Posted July 16, 2006 Update on the make... Guy from the lupo forum found soem info on these kits.... fla 9 Posted August 18, 2006 Philj, ? Would you be able to find out which particular FK rebrands these are the equivalent of, as a reference? I think they will make a lot more sense. Thanks.
