what speakers will fit in the dash??& what fit the doors

As the crap starnard tweeters are rubbish , i what some dash speakers for my C , + the doors what size are they and how do you remove them?

The tweeters aren't too bad, it's the puny drivers in the door and the shieete plastic they're mounted to that's the problem.

 

Anyway, tweeters are in a round plastic housing and they just lift out, as does the metal cover.

 

Door pocket speeks are 5 1/4" and the door cards have to come out in order to get those out.

ahh right thx mate so the dash one are 4in/ 10 cm then? might just run some nice jbl's in there , some on e-bay for 28 quid ,as i like jbl's

 

worth changing the doors i have a spare amp to drive them , off to find some 5 1/4" too

Yeah I'd say they're about 4"....
