Healthy ISV ?

So...if I take ISV off... anf blow inside the "thing"

Should it be absolutely tight if ok ...no air leak trough it ? :shock:

What is the problem with your car?

I think the ISV is too big to blow through! You just need to take it off the car & soak it overnight in some carburetor fluid.

Gee60, if it helps the Two i've got you can blow through when they are off the car, but not that much. I still to this day dont know if that is correct but hey, i've got a check valve now so im sorted.

I have too the check valve assembled...

but my question was actually theoretic..

 

Would it be so easy to find faulty ISV ?

 

My ISV let air trough both way like an empty tube if I blow into ? :shock:

No ISVs are not gas tight. The stepper motor inside controls the valve to alter the air flow characteristics ergo 'stabilising' the idle.
