Un-doing manifold bolts!

Ive managed to undo 4 of the 6 (i think thats it!?) bolts in aid of removing the engine, but i really cant get to the others.

 

Can anyone suggest the best way of getting to bolts 1 & 2 (numbered as if you were looking into the engine bay from the front of the car.)

12mm socket on a 3/8" extension bar should do 4/5 of then and then just a 12mm ring spanner to do the awkward on is what we use to remove them.

i used a halfords ratchet spanner worked a treat!
