Has anyone cut down their 90mm spoiler? - done it

Well I've done it, hacked off the bottom 20mm or so off the spoiler. Results are surprisingly good! Dropped the coilies a bit more, well chuffed now :D

 

So you've dropped it another 20mm.... now you're the same as before :lol:

Well no, it's now about 45mm lower than standard, and without the problem of catching on speed bumps, and without the silly 50mm spoiler 8) :wink: :lol:

Cutting that 90mm is a sin here in the states! That 90mm is getting harder and harder to come by. People are paying a premium for it here. I've been waiting for months for mine. I ordered myself two spares. :roll:

Guys, guys, just go over to VWVortex and you will have dozens of guys willing to trade a 50mm for a 90mm, myself included.

Well to be fair the main reason I went ahead and cut mine was because it had 2 massive cracks at the corners anyway. So not so much of a sin :wink:

Just swap w/ the yanks... A 90mm spoler is almost £125 w/ carriage.
