Whereabouts is it on the box? only one i can find is on the back of the box at the top with a 3 wire plug in it. Is this it?

I think it's a large plastic 'box' attached to the shift assembly...

is this the one at the front of the box, doesnt have an electrical plug going to it?

Yeah, should have - maybe thats the problem!

I am having problems too. The reverse lights on my '93 VR6 are very temperamental, and will only sometimes come on when engauging revervse. I want to check the switch, but had problems finding it. Does anyone have any pictures where the switch is, or detailed descriptions on how to get to it?

Its a black round box below the shift lingakge with two wires sticking to it!
