I'll welcome you to the forums but suggest that you hit up the Search facility - this subject has been discussed a great many time on here as its a common Corrado problem! :)

Good example thread here:

Good luck tracking down the problem. I used to get wet footwells whenever it rained on my first Rado. Turns out it was down to a badly fitted windscreen which was letting water in round the window and down behind the dash (over the fusebox believe it or not) and into the footwell.. nightmare!

Does it also do it when its just been raining mate and the cars been sat? It comes in through the plastic seal/skin behind the door card sometimes you can see traces of it on the plastic trims, as it makes its way down the onto the carpet :( Also check the rubber door seal as well for rips etc. Sometimes it can get in through the air intake for the fan in the scuttle mate especially if it gets blocked up with leaves etc. Also check the grommets in the bulk head and make sure that they are all in place, as these can allow water to get into the cabin.

:o Ive found loads of crap and leaves around the heater/fan intake in the scuttle tray and cleaned the out.. It happend after i did that aswell but i noticed that it didnt do it as much...

Ive just bought the car and when i got it the carpets wernt wet but it was a bit smelly, then found the sound proofing under the carpets was rotten so removed it..So its been a problem for the previous owners aswell...

I have just noticed it when its raining and im driving, i havent noticed it when its been sat...

Thanks for the welcome Jim, you lot have already been a saviour in buying my Rado.. :salute:
