VW Caddy help

Does anyone know where the OBD connector for VAG-COM is on a 2001 VW Caddy?

I assume it was under the blanking plate in front of the gearstick being a mk4 based car??

No, it's my secret :)

 

 

...It was behind the panel under the steeering wheel that covers the fuses, tucked up on the right-hand side.

 

I couldn't scan it though for some reason so no help after all anyway :(

You should be able to scan all the basic setting on the 2001 caddy as we have one and regulary have it plugged in .

Hmm, well it tried 4 times to connect on most channels and it failed everytime?

 

I remember trying to scan the VR before stripping her and it didn't work also. It used to work but don't know what's wrong with it now.

 

It's a fully registered version that I bought direct from Ross-Tech too?

I may be wrong but it may be the type of lead you have - I think something changes 2000 onwards...
