Speed pulse signal spec

Don't suppose anyone knows what the spec is for the speed-pulse signal you get on the blue wire in the head unit slot?

 

I'm wanting to hook it up to the in-car PC, but need to know what the signal will be like before I go frying COM ports and the like :D
