easypops 8 Posted August 27, 2006 hi all, i tried to remove the throttle body today but one of the bolts(not a normal bolt , one of the star in the middle jobs) wouldn't come out. it was then i killed the bolt, the star bit chewed the middle out and now it seems that i will really struggle to get it out :cry: i have got hold of a screw/bolt extractor set, without instructions but im guessing i need to drill a small hole and then unwind one of these things in, sounds not too bad but access is a bit limited ! anyway, could anyone offer any advice on this and can i get a new set of bolts from vw or gsf. any answers would be great. the engine is a 2.0 16v 9a by the way many thanks all martin Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
