vr6storm 0 Posted September 6, 2006 be warned tho.......not matter how minty mint one you buy is........its going to need bits replaced through wear n tear, and although its got a better build quality than most Fords and is probably better engineered the smallest detail/thing to go wrong can make it seem like a money-pit........ TonyC 0 Posted September 10, 2006 Look, here's a nice one! http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46558 Yep, it's mine. I've had a 126k mile mk 2 Golf GTi 8V and that engine was super smooth. My Corrado had done 138k miles and again the engine runs really sweetly. Mileage shouldn't be an issue as long there is decent service history. TC
skinnyman9000 0 Posted September 11, 2006 I've got a 1990 1.8 16V and i've gotta say i love driving it! Its so nice and comfy, yet sporting and commanding! Although, am i the only person who is slightly disappointed by the pace of it? I mean, the way people talk about them, and with the 130ish bhp on tap, i was expecting it to be alot faster than it is.
