corradostuff 0 Posted September 6, 2006 I've been thinking about removing the rubbing strips on my Corrado. It's flash red and I think it would look better without them. I'd like to hear from anyone who's already done this. Do you recommend it? or wish you'd left them on? I'm worried I'll get a trolley dent after taking them off and will live to regret it! Also how easy is it to take them off? It looks like they are just stuck on with sticky stuff. Do you just ease them off gently or is there a better way or a product to use? Also am I likely to lose any paint when I take them off? I don't want to do it if I'll need a re-spray after!!
awigman 0 Posted September 6, 2006 i tried to do it before i got my respray and it started to peel the paint away. Had them taken off when the car went in for a full respray. In my opinion it looks sooooo much better with out them, just need to be careful where you park
