Dec 1 Posted September 8, 2006 Yeah, Sorn would deffo be a major turnoff for someone as they cant legally just buy the car and drive away! If it has an MOT, maybe just offer that you can put 6 months tax on it in addition to the price? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
steve_16v 0 Posted September 8, 2006 Personally I wouldn't buy a sorn'd car unless it was something I was really, really interested in. Like Dec says you can't drive it away, nor can you (legally) take it for a test drive. Same goes with tax, except the buyer would have to wait even longer to legally drive it because they'll have to get the insurance docs through and mot before taxing it.
