Carbon canister plumbing

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I recently removed the carbon canister on my VR6 to alow my induction kit access to cold air.

Should I

a: leave to tubes as they are

b: Join them together (ie bypasing the cc)

c: Stop being so silly and put the cc back

d: Something else

Tried a: but got a putt putt noise on tickover. Tried b: but the car does not start as well as it used to.

Cheers

Nick

Blank the hose on the intake as this will be why you are having trouble to start, bin the lot,and the remaining pipe form the tank, loop it around add a length to it and allow it to vent to atmosphere lower down in the engine bay so you cant smell it.
