Castro 0 Posted September 11, 2006 Anybody else find that when you're following a car with LED rear lights in the dark, if you move your eyes across the car, or as you flick between the car in front and your dials, the lights cause a 'trace' in your vision? It's as if the lights are flashing on and off very quickly, rather than being switched on constantly. Is this just something that LEDs do? Anyone else witnessed this, or am I really as special as my mum tells me I am?

Phil K 0 Posted September 11, 2006 Castro, yeah they do havea flicker rate! I have them on the back of my Passat and they do that... whats more annoying is the LED's used to light the interior also do this - you do get used to it though and they look cool too :D
Guest Posted September 11, 2006 its not as bad as the xenon headlights that flash different colours when they go over bumps, always looks like the cozzers are chasing you (or maybe they are).
