imyhamid 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Hi al my steroe has decided that it does not want to work anymore so i'm looking for a new one. I have decided to go for an Alpine just wondered which one to go for. Want one with the ipod connector and with a black face/surround as i have seen them in silver and dont really like. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 20, 2006 I hope Alpine have improved their Ipod interface because when I tried one, it was utter sheet. It worked well and the tracks sounded good, but if you wanted to find a song in the middle of your library - quite a common occurrence I'd say - it took forever to load it up....I'm talking minutes, not seconds!! I sent it back as it was pants. There MUST have been improvements as soooooo many people complained, but any of the top 3 on Alpine's H/U menu on their site are good.
