chrishill 0 Posted October 3, 2003 anyone done this? i've just ordered an eyebrow from GSF car parts which the guy said 'tapers' in the middle and is lower over the lights, which sounds very much like the Kamei one to me. Seen plenty of photos of them on the later spec grilles, but none on earlyer ones. any photos please?

vr6storm 0 Posted October 4, 2003 woooow how clean is skids car ... very nice... also roddy got any better pics of the blue one just in the first pic you posted ? yeah there are plenty of us in agreement that skid should show it or have it magazine featured as it one damned cool looking minter 8) as for the blue one i do have another couple of pics of it......but much an such the same.......though i'm sure the present owners will tell you that it is in dire need of serious TLC!!!.........also AFAIK it was for sale on the VWCCGB classifieds for a good year+ and was described as a show-winner :?  but it really needs quite a bit of fettling.........the paintwork btw is a mercedes blue(i think its a SLK colour)
Beetlebug_2001 0 Posted October 5, 2003 wow thats cheap, wheres my credit card at?, how much do u think itll cost to get painted bearing in mine the colour of my car is discontined and will need fresh paint mixed up?
chrishill 0 Posted October 5, 2003 as far as i know, most bodyshops will be able to mix up a match for your paint fairly easily, i'd guesstimate between £30 and £50 for getting it sprayed, unless you're doing what i am and getting other work done at the same time! :D

jedi-knight83 0 Posted August 16, 2004 are there many differences between the gsf one and the proper kamei one? i have just been offered it at £20. should i go for the kamei one? ta
coullstar 0 Posted August 16, 2004 I was going to buy that blue one about 4-5 years ago but couldnt get insured on it.
chrishill 0 Posted August 16, 2004 here you go jedi, think this pic shows it up quite well! I dont have one of the fittings, but like i said in the other post, its just been bonded to the slam panel with some white sticky stuff. (oh er!)
Blue_Joe 0 Posted August 16, 2004 Chris Is this picture of the eyebrow the one from GSF as when I went in there and asked a while ago they said ot was just a flat one and not the one that raised in the middle over the grille
chrishill 0 Posted August 16, 2004 I guess it could depend on what stock they have in at the time, the one i have came from GSF about 8 months ago.
