Solving leak - scuttle cover removal/replacement

i have a leak in the passenger side which is mainly running down from right hand side of the footwell (near centre console side)

Ive cleared a whole forest of crap out of the gully part its still leaking?

 

I now want to remove the fragile scuttle panel (h- its quite well stuck down, but i want to check under it then re-seal it (prob with halford black silicone).

 

Any advice / tips please?

Just make sure you get it really clean, ready to be resealed.

 

Have you made sure that the drain holes aren't blocked?

is there a seal at the firewall? i have a driver side leak and i'm struggling to find the source. had wondered if theres soemthign here
