air filter

Recommended Posts

k&n don't do a 57i kit for the valver (cos of the fuel gubbins on the airbox), you can use washable panel filters around £40 and then there is the STROEVE Motorsport 16V INDUCTION KIT , £130ish though!!!!!

Only if they're particularly oily. Green filters are perfectly oiled, K&N tend to be slightly overoiled. You just need to dab the filter lightly with some kitchen paper.

This is only a prob with induction kits located in the engine bay, as the oil doesn't have much pipework to travel through in order to get to the MAF.

Not a prob with CAI type kits or panel filters.

nik middleton, get a panel filter and remove the snorkel from the front of the airbox. You can route some cold air in through the hole or just leave it. Try the search for more info
