clutch & timing chains getting replaced

Recommended Posts

just a quickie, how long would it take a decent mechanic to change the clutch & timing chains? the guy who does all the work on my car just wants a ball park figure so he knows how much time to set aside.

done a search but cant find any info on actually times!

cheers

The book says 8+ hours.

The clutch alone is 3 hours.

I think Stealth quote based on it being 6-7 hours, and they do this all the time. If you're not so familiar with it it'll take a little longer.
