double-6s 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Howdy. Since my car came back from the garage it's been steaming up the windscreen if I put the heater control to anything other than cold. Is this definately the matrix or could it be something else? No sign of wet carpets or anything. Could something have been damaged or come undone when the garage had the engine in/out? robbo101 0 Posted October 2, 2006 The heater matrix is the only thing that carries water inside your car. It's connectors are in the engine bay and go through the bulkhead to the heater unit. Would deff think that this is the problem. Mine started with just a little misting up, as I drove it for a few weeks like this ending up with soaked carpets and in the end it was like a Kettle blowing up my screen as there was that much steam escaping.
