vr6storm 0 Posted October 12, 2006 stevemac is the man to ask..............he loves the old Merc "cossie"(2.3's had heads built by Cosworth and 2.5's had Cosworth designed but Mercedes built heads IIRC)..........didn't realise they sold em stateside tho................the 2.3 16v over here had 185bhp and was similar performance to the Corrado VR6(going by manufacturers figs)...........they were replaced by the 2.5 version about 89-ish which had more power...........horrendously expensive to fix if the engine goes bye-bye tho..........a friend of my bro-in-law had one about 10-11 yrs ago and blew a hole in the block....Mercedes wanted £7k for a new block Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
