Insurance - Tell them everything or not

as a very rough guide, i declared a dump valve, stainless steel exhaust, induction kit, lowering springs, alloys and uprated discs and pads to one of my insurance companies when i had my turbo and they added £150 to my premiuim. so for all that it was a very small increase. declare everything dowm to blackened VW badges, do not give them the chance to screw you over and most of the time they are just happy that you have told them. oh, and get them to send written confirmation so they can't deny that you told them.
