G60 Oil Pressure - Feed to the charger

Hi there, i would appreciate it if anyone could please tell me what pressure the oil feed pipe to the charger should be running at, as i have just fitted a new charger to my car but the pressure seems to be a little low for my liking, its barel pushing out 1/bar, whereas i thought it shoud be up and around 2/bar. Any help greatfully appreciated, thanks.

Hi Matty,

 

Not 100% sure for the 16v but both the G60 and the VR6 should be pushing 2 Bar @2000rpm as a mininum, am sure someone will be able to confirm for the 16v

An absolute minimum of 2 bar, 2000 rpm at 80°c oil temp using 15w/40 oil but I like to see 3 bar.
