I've got my hands on some corrado recaros seats.. but they have no subframes... are the recaro subframes differnet to the stock corrado seats.. and how low do i sit?

also i have rear seats... how do these fit into a mk2 golf? and what bout the gap each side.. and the center arm rest..

thanks

Ben

Can be dione but don't know how as far as the rear seat goes... as for the fronts - they will go straight in and you'll find that you're able to drop them lower than the standard Golf versions... you should also be aware that they are worth more than the Golf ones and if they are too low you could sell them, get a Golf set and have money left over 8)

Are they definately corrado recaro's? seems strange that someone would take the subframes off them. Are they electric?

Yeah they were apparently but he's not getting them now - they seemed a good price on german eBay until we discovered that they are trimmed in imitation leather...

But... I am now interested in this as i have sourced some Fiat Tipo recaro's that look identical to the Corrado ones so i just need to know how they are mounted...?

golf/corrado recaro seats are mounted to the subframe by four bolts, i'd imagine all recaro's would use the same mounting system but you'd still need to source recaro golf/corrado subframes, or get someone to professionally fabricate/mount them to standard subframes (alot of people did this with Ford fit Recaro's)
