jekvr6 0 Posted October 26, 2006 my corrado vr6 has played up a couple of time last week it dies and acts as if its ran out of fuel if to touch the gas it dies but ticks over fine and the longer it ticks over the more you can rev it after about 20 seconds its all back to normal ????? don it twice when ive booted it away and died when i put my foot down in 3rd ???? ant ideas ????? DierWolf 0 Posted October 26, 2006 Having the same problem, at first i thought it was idle control valve and for a few days there it was running fine after putting that in but today is hot and its doing it constantly now again. if i put too much gas, not even wide open throttle it will rev up to 2K then jut bog out abruptly, almost like it got no fuel, fromt here its all down hill i have to keep playing with the throttle and dry to drive it under 1500 rpm.... wondering what the hell it could be... Fuel pump? Pump Relay? Pressure regulator??? i'm lost, dont want to go out buying a new fuel pump and its not that. i am sure someone has run accross this problem before, but i really havent gotten any helpful responses up tell now other htan puttinging it on VAGCOM which i did and thre was no trouble codes, all sensors are fine.
